Everything You Need to Know for a Smooth Experience
At Sittrly, we know finding reliable care isn't just about convenience it's about trust, comfort, and connection. Whether you're a busy parent booking care for the first time or a sitter joining our community, we want you to feel confident every step of the way.

Once you create a Sittrly account, you can browse vetted sitters, view their profiles, and book directly through our secure platform. You can post a job within the Sittrly job board to let the sitters know what you need and a sitter will respond. You can also browse and book available sitters based on your preferred dates and times.
Families can review detailed sitter profiles in the Sittrly app & message sitters directly after booking is confirmed. This allows you to ask questions, clarify expectations, and get to know your sitter in advance. All communication stays on-platform for safety. Out of respect for our sitter's time, we do allow for an in-person meet up (if requested) at your home, however, it must be mutual between the family & the sitter. Prior to your scheduled sit, it’s highly encouraged for your sitter to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled time for introductions, to meet the children and review any last minute details and expectations.
Sittrly keeps pricing simple, transparent, and family-friendly.
Families can book care in two ways:

Single Bookings – $12 per booking + sitter's base rate
Perfect for occasional care or trying Sittrly for the first time. You’ll have full access to our trusted sitter network and can book as needed. -
Membership Options – Unlimited Bookings
For families who book more often, Sittrly offers two membership plans:
• Monthly Membership – $19/month
• Quarterly Membership – $49 every 3 months
Both include unlimited sitter bookings with no per-booking fee.
Each booking also includes a small 4% platform fee, which covers secure payments and credit card processing.
Sitter rates are based on the number of children in care:

Sittrly’s pricing structure was designed to be clear, fair, and stress-free — so you always know exactly what to expect before you book.

All payments are processed safely through the Sittrly platform for safety and convenience. Families are charged immediately after the sit is completed based on the confirmed hours and the suggested sitter rates.
Absolutely! Families can favorite sitters within the Sittrly portal to make future bookings quick and easy. You can also send a direct booking request to your preferred sitter anytime.
If you find a sitter you love during your booking, they can even create the next booking request on your behalf — keeping things simple, familiar, and stress-free for everyone.
We know that every family is unique – and sometimes the first sitter you meet might not be the perfect fit. While we do our best to include detailed bios, experience and qualifications in each sitter’s profile to help you choose confidently, chemistry can’t always be predicted.
If you feel a sitter isn’t the right fit for your family, you can try a different sitter for future bookings. Families can also have the option to “favorite” sitters in the app, making it easy to rebook the ones who feel like the best fit for your family.
We understand life happens – especially for families! To respect our sitters time, Sittrly has a 24 hour cancellation policy.
If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled sit, a $25 cancellation fee will be charged and paid directly to your sitter. There will be no refunds for booking fee(s).
If you cancel more than 24 hours, there is no cancellation fee.
Emergencies such as illness are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
This cancellation policy helps ensure fairness for sitters while giving families the flexibility they need when unexpected situations arise.
You can cancel your Sittrly membership anytime — no calls or emails needed. Simply log into your account, open your My Account, and select “Membership.” From there, you can cancel instantly, and your plan will remain active through the end of your current billing period.

Submit an application → schedule a pre-screen call → if selected, attend an in-person interview → then complete CPR certification, background check, and reference verification. Once the vetting process is complete, you'll start onboarding.

No. Sittrly does not charge sitters to join or be listed on the platform.
All payments are made securely through Stripe within the Sittrly platform. Sitters are paid at the end of the night after each completed booking for that day.
All sitters base rate starts at $15 per hour for one child. The system automatically adjusts for additional children.
Families can browse and book you directly based on your profile and availability. You may also place recurring booking requests with specific families within the platform.
Yes! You’re welcome to invite families you already work with to book you through Sittrly. This ensures all bookings, payments, and policies stay protected and streamlined through the platform.
Yes. If a parent cancels within 24 hours, you’ll receive a $25 cancellation fee automatically.
Notify the family and Sittrly support immediately through the in-app messaging feature.
